Firearms Exported from Trabzon to 76 Countries Across Four Continents

Trabzon Silah Sanayi A.Ş. (TİSAŞ), a firearms manufacturer operating in Türkiye’s Eastern Black Sea region, exported pistols and infantry rifles to 76 countries across Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Africa in 2025.

Founded in Trabzon 33 years ago, the company has increased its production capacity and export volume over the years at its factory in the Arsin Organized Industrial Zone.

Continuously improving its physical and technological infrastructure, the company manufactures pistols and rifles for both military and civilian use.

The company also places strong emphasis on R&D. While closely following technological developments in the defense industry abroad, it continues its efforts to expand its product portfolio.

“We Produced 150,000 Pistols and 10,000 Infantry Rifles for Export”

Murat Alemdaroğlu, a member of TİSAŞ’s Board of Directors, said the company has attracted significant interest in international markets.

Noting that they deliver their products to countries across four continents, Alemdaroğlu said:

“We manufacture pistols and infantry rifles, which are classified as small arms. We export these products to 76 countries, primarily for use by law enforcement agencies. In 2025, we produced 150,000 pistols and 10,000 infantry rifles for export. We exported 70% of our products, while the remaining 30% was supplied for use by our law enforcement agencies.”

Alemdaroğlu emphasized that the company’s pistols have long been preferred by law enforcement agencies in Türkiye, adding:

“Under the contract we signed, we supplied approximately 52,000 firearms to our law enforcement agencies during 2025.”
